Terms of Use
The simple rules for using TheFoodFind. Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who we are
TheFoodFind (the “App”) and this website are provided by TheAuraFinds, a project by Sandro Bregante, Zurich, Switzerland. You can reach us at support@theaurafinds.com.
2. Using the App
The App is a private dining journal for iPhone, offered for your personal, non-commercial use. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms. Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
3. Your content
Your ratings, notes, photos, venue histories and diner profiles are stored on your device and belong to you. When you create and share a Gold Card, you decide where it goes. Please only share photos and details you have the right to share, and ask the people at your table before showing them or their names.
4. Foodie subscription
TheFoodFind is free to start. Foodie is an optional paid subscription, available monthly or yearly at the price shown in the App Store before you buy. Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled by Apple: your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in Settings on your iPhone, under your name and Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
5. Gold Card Gallery
Cards appear in our public gallery only with the permission of the person who made them. To have a card removed, write to support@theaurafinds.com and we will remove it.
6. Creator & Partner Program
Creators who join the Creator & Partner Program are also bound by the conditions shown on the program page when they apply.
7. Fair use
Please do not misuse the App: no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt it or circumvent its limits, no unlawful content, and no suggestion that TheFoodFind endorses you or your business unless we have agreed so in writing.
8. Ratings and venue information
Ratings in the App are personal opinions of you and the people at your table. Venue and map information comes from third-party services, so it may be incomplete or out of date. TheFoodFind has no sponsored rankings.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the App running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, for example for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Privacy
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Zurich, Switzerland, are the place of jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
